Grimnetic is operated by Resolute Cyber Defense LLC, a Texas limited liability company. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information relating to users of the Grimnetic platform at grimnetic.com and app.grimnetic.com, including the Grimworld community, the Grim Exchange, and all associated features. By using any part of the platform you acknowledge this Policy and consent to the data practices described herein.
We collect information you provide directly — including your Grimworld name, email address, age, avatar selection, and profile biography. We do not collect or store your real name and we do not display personally identifiable information publicly within the platform. Your Grimworld name is the sole identity displayed to other Grimzens in all community interactions.
We collect usage information including session data, device type, browser type, general geographic region derived from IP address, features accessed, Grimes created, and Nation scores accumulated. This information is used to improve the platform and is never sold to third parties.
Voice recordings created through the Voice Studio feature are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to or retained by Resolute Cyber Defense LLC's servers unless you expressly elect to use a verified backend voice service when that service is enabled, in which case additional notice and consent requirements will apply.
Resolute Cyber Defense LLC complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, 15 U.S.C. §6501 et seq. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Users under 13 are expressly prohibited from creating accounts or accessing any feature of the Grimnetic platform. Users aged 13 through 17 may access age-appropriate public forums only with verified parental consent. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided personal information without consent should contact us immediately at the address listed in Section 9 of this Policy.
Voice recordings constitute biometric identifiers under the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act, Tex. Bus. and Com. Code §503.001 et seq., and may constitute biometric information under the California Consumer Privacy Act, Cal. Civ. Code §1798.100 et seq., where applicable. We obtain informed written consent before collecting any biometric data through the Voice Studio feature. Biometric data stored locally on your device is retained until you delete it through the Voice Studio interface. We do not sell, lease, or trade biometric identifiers or biometric information.
Communications transmitted through the Grim Exchange — including public forum posts and private messages — are subject to retention for platform safety and legal compliance purposes. While private messages are encrypted in transit, they are not end-to-end encrypted in a manner that prevents platform access. Resolute Cyber Defense LLC reserves the right to access, retain, and disclose communications when required by law, when necessary to enforce our Terms of Use, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the platform, our users, or the public. We operate as an interactive computer service provider within the meaning of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, 47 U.S.C. §230, and do not bear editorial responsibility for third-party content posted by users.
Payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe, Inc. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other financial account information on our servers. Payment data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy, which you may review at stripe.com/privacy. We retain records of transaction amounts, dates, and subscription tier information for billing and compliance purposes.
The platform may integrate with third-party service providers for payment processing, hosting, storage, artificial intelligence, media rendering, voice, translation, moderation, or analytics where those services are enabled. Each provider operates under its own privacy terms and data processing arrangements. Grimnetic should not represent any provider integration as active unless that integration has been implemented and verified.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information. California residents may exercise rights under the CCPA including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Texas residents may exercise rights under applicable state privacy law. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in Section 9 of this Policy.
